Martha W. Sullivan, principal, has sat on both sides of the corporate desk.

 
She knows how to create and execute successful marketing and public relations initiatives, including branding, special events, media relations, community outreach and everything in between.

In 1997 Martha opened the doors to Sullivan Communications. Her experience and passion for the hospitality industry became the cornerstone of the agency and continues to this day. Sullivan Communications is known for its integrity, professionalism, creativity and results. Be it announcing a restaurant opening, creating signature culinary events, helping hotels secure ‘heads on beds’ or branding a destination, Martha and her team bring a unique blend of experience and enthusiasm to each endeavor.

Martha’s first foray into hospitality was at Harvard Business School working in the Alumni Programs and Executive Education offices. As a client of the city’s top restaurants and hotels, she understood the importance of establishing communications, negotiating contracts, setting the highest of standards and creating memorable experiences.

Martha made her mark in the Harvard Square community when she headed to
The Charles Hotel in Harvard Square, Cambridge’s first independent luxury boutique hotel. As Director of Public Relations for twelve years, Martha spearheaded the hotel's public relations initiatives from branding to special events to media and community outreach. Working with public relations agencies big and small, from Boston to NYC, she gained invaluable experience and perspective from the client side of the desk.
